Chapel of Rest
Our Private Chapel of Rest offers you the chance to spend precious time with your loved one, in a peaceful environment. Our family team will make sure that your loved one is cared for, and respectfully prepared for viewing.
Bethany Private Chapel of Rest was dedicated and opened by the Reverend Vivian Morgan, Reverend William Hopkin and Pastor John King in October 1985.
To visit our Chapel of Rest, we ask that you contact us to arrange an appointment in advance. We are very flexible and do not restrict visits to office hours however you will require an appointment. Please call us on 01656 860545.
Printed Service Cards
We produce bespoke service leaflets which can be personalised to your own specifications including hymns, poems and photographs.
Family Notices – ‘Obituaries’
At the time of arranging a funeral, we will also arrange the announcement of a death in the form of an obituary which can be published in your choice of newspaper.
Coffin Selection
We offer a selection of high-quality coffins from traditional styles, willow/wicker or themed coffins. Whether you prefer traditional or something more innovative and bespoke, be assured that we will only source from quality suppliers renowned for their dedication to meeting the highest of standards.
Floral Tributes
Floral tributes may be sent to our offices on the day of the funeral. These can then be placed in position before the hearse leaves for the funeral service. Please click here for details on local florists.
Charitable Donations
Many now prefer family flowers only and ask friends and neighbours to make a charitable donation in lieu of flowers and in memory of their loved one. We can coordinate donations on your behalf, with all cheques made payable to your chosen charity and sent on to the charities concerned. We can then provide you with a full list of donations.
Disbursements
These are highly variable third-party costs paid out by us on your behalf. These costs may include Obituaries, Doctors Fees, Cremation/Burial fees, Clergy/Ministers fees, interment of cremated remains, purchase of graves or Cremation plots etc. A full breakdown of disbursements along with our professional fee will be provided to families.
Our Vehicles
We have traditional Coleman Milne hearses and limousines but there are many options available to families now such as a vintage lorry, horse drawn hearse and many more.
Bereavement Support
